This is what we mix with our coco coir to get our seedling soil mix. it's a good midsize perlite and not powdery. You might want a chunkier perlite for house plants and aroids.

It's a pretty good price for the quantity. It shipped on time and is exactly what I wanted. The bag was slightly damaged during shipping, but luckily it didn't spill. It's dusty as always, so be sure to cover nose/mouth when working with it.
