This might be better than my Wild Birds Unlimited... not a versatile in its setup but extremely well made. I've had it up for a long enough to give it a good testing. It's very sturdy with no sway when loaded with large feeders.There is some very small movement during heavy winds when oversized feeders are vigorously swinging but nothing like I've experienced in the past. I would definitely recommend this product.

This shepherds hook is alright. I like that it has a deep main stake and 4 support prongs, making it feel quite secure, but the holes for mounting the prongs are not staggered, so you can only properly secure one pair of prongs into a mounting hole. The others need to just be screwed down onto the middle post and held with friction, which isn't ideal. I don't even know if the screws are stainless or not, especially at this price.It's adjustable by including/not including different segments. The segments screw in to each other in a somewhat secure arrangement, with quite a bit of metal overlap. They feel pretty sturdy when connected, assuming there isn't some way for wind or something to slowly unscrew an upper segment from a lower segment.It's not as attractive as I had hoped. It's hard to get both sets of support prongs to be hidden without piling up mulch or something on top of them. Also, I didn't realize that the top end of the hook is just a little plastic or maybe rubber cup/end piece which doesn't look very attractive. It'd be nice if it came to some kind of taper, or was rounded, or something. I realize that would increase manufacturing cost, and this thing is very inexpensive, so it's acceptable. Also, on retrospect, I see the design on the listing photos, but it's not really obvious without zooming in. I hung a feeder basket from it, next to a very pretty copper bird feeder, and it's kind of a stark contrast, aesthetically.For a bit over ten bucks, it's a perfectly nice shepherds hook. I still don't know how it holds up long-term, and I will likely come back with an update if it degrades significantly. In the meantime, it should be stable and functional.

The company contacted me immediately after my review asked me to send a picture as I did with the above the next thing they did was ask me if I wanted to refund a replacement and apologize so I changed my rating to a five because this company stands behind their products and they're wonderful people to deal with if you have a problemI ordered my shepherd hook and put it together went to put it in the ground and on the four way on the bottom the stable spikes came unattached so I only have the center and two spikes holding it in the ground I would not buy this again

Easy to assemble no hardware needed. Hook size is perfect for nearly any birdhouse. The material seems strong but I would push it beyond its specifications. And easy to use.

The bird feeder pole is simple to assemble and can easily hold a bird feeder when fully assembled. Additionally, once the sections are screwed together, they cannot be easily separated, and there is no easy grip to unscrew them for adjustment. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that the pole is at the desired height before tightening everything down.**Suggestion:** To avoid any issues, it is recommended to first attach the bottom section and one or two additional sections before pushing the pole into the ground. This way, if any adjustments are needed, they can be made before securing the remaining sections.

I just got this yesterday so I can't attest to it's longevity, but it seems relatively well-made for the price. It is not a heavy-duty metal like iron but is a fairly heavy duty aluminum, at least not easily bendable. I only have two criticisms so far: the pronged bottom piece doesn't actually fasten to the pole, so it falls off when you lift the pole. Once in the ground, it is secure, so that is a minor point. The other is that the hook which hold the birdfeeder should be farther out from the pole. The cover over my birdfeeder won't hang naturally and bumps againsnt the pole, which puts it on an angle, negating the purpose of having a cover over the birdseed. I suppose I could buy a smaller cover, but this is the first hanger that I have had that problem with.Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty good value considering that many birdfeeder poles can run over $100.I've had this for about a week, and have found it toppled over every morning when I check it. I don't know if squirrels are able to push it down, or possibly raccoon, but nothing I have tried to secure it will keep it upright. The prongs that go into the ground are just not long enough to secure it once you add the weight of a feeder to the top. I even exchanged the feeder from a metal one to plastic to lighten the load, but even that didn't work. I also placed bricks over the base prongs to add more weight to the bottom, but that didn't work either. My old wrought iron plant hanger worked better, maybe because it was heavier, or probably because the weight was distributed between two opposing hangers instead of just the one. I would recommend buying a dual hanger.Update: I bought a base to hold this more firmly in the ground, and the next morning I found it snapped off at ground level, probably by being hit by a raccoon. So I would not recommend since it is so flimsy that it can be broken off by an animal. I am going back to a wrought iron hanger.

Der Stab als solches ist stabil, der Hacken zum eintreten ins Gras ist schlampig gearbeitet,Bei leichten Druck ist die Schweißnaht geplatzt. Habe ich selbst wieder angeschweißt.Hat man die Möglich nicht ,muss der Stab dann wieder in die USA ?? Von dort ist der

Super verarbeitet. Schnell versendet und auch erhalten...Ich verstehe leider nur nicht, warum man so etwas nicht in Deutschland oder zumindest Europa hergestellt bekommt und dafür einen solchen Transportweg benötigt. Nur Mal zum Thema Ökonomie, Ökologie und Nachhaltigkeit!
