The traditional citronella scented candle in a traditional bowl. Our backyard is a small patio, sloping down to a pond. We feel we have our share of mosquitoes, so we don't sit out there at night. Mosquitoes are an ongoing enemy we battle outside and inside. Not certain if this candle offers relief or the illusion of relief, given that the bites we experience could be from inside, or outside.

I thought it was going to be bigger and smell better. The bugs are on steroids this year. I suppose it may have kept some mosquitoes away? For this price a cover would have been nice. The $3 dollar Coleman citronella candle in the tin was so much better.

Thick, solid wick, which is lacking in most cheap candles, allows the wax to burn evenly and fully. Great candle.

I think it may have helped a little, but still lots of mosquitos and lots of bits. Probably won’t buy again.
