After watching YouTube videos on replacing my A/C unit on my 2011 Winnebago, I felt confident I could accomplish this. The hardest part was getting it on the roof. It weighs about 90 lbs. With some help from my son, got it up and installed and save hundreds of dollars by doing it myself. After using it for the last four months, it's working great.

Fast delivery and the product in good shape thanks to Fed-Ex because the factory packaging was deplorable. It arrived wrapped in a lot of packing tape to hold what was left of cheap cardboard trying to hold it to a decent pallet.Packaging aside this is a nice product. It is an exact replacement for the old unit. bolt holes aligned perfectly, and electrical connectors required no modifications. When installation was finished we fired up the unit, which produced a lot of cold air and was very quiet. Now we shall see if it holds up but so far so good.

Installed in an hour once it was on the roof. Came on a pallet in good condition. Don’t need the extra gasket Amazon recommends. Once you swap control box; one simple plug and the condensation drain are the only hookups.

Replaceing two units. Received one unit on wood skid, all was good.Ordered another unit. It was delivered standing on end. To there defense there was no markings at to what was top or bottom or it’s content. Removed covers to install and saw a sensor hanging from wires. It is a temperature sensor that should be attached to the tubing.There was nothing that showed a way to attach it to the tubing. Looking closer I noticed the compressor didn’t look like it was in right position. One of the copper tubes was against the cooling fins. Closer examination found that three of the four compressor mounts were broken. I would say this would be from dropping it in the upside down position.Missing part……. This is intended for a ducted system. There two openings in the roof. One is for warm air pulled into the blower the other is for cold air out into living area. The AC unit sets on a square foam gasket 14â€x14†x 1.25â€. However, there is no gasket to separate warm air coming in with cold air going out. Without this divider the air is mixed. Which seems to be less efficient unless I’m missing something!If I am, someone, please explain to me how this would be more efficient without the divider.The original units were moundlted with 1/4â€x 6†wood screws from top down. These screws went through inserts on the frame. The new unit inserts have 1/4x 20 threads. So these had to be drilled out.There’s no mention of this in the instructions.I see that this would be better if the unit's mounting bolts were installed from the bottom up through the roof but that is not possible with a ducted system.Unless I'm missing something…. Their installation manual needs to be updated.Hope this helps someone.

Late arrival. Suppose to have been here on Saturday finally arrive on Wednesday. Was not attached to the pallet, just setting on pallet, no straps or anything to hold it in place. Had been dropped cracking the frame.

One of my 10 year old Mach 8 went out and its summer so need a replacement fast. Amazon had one day Prime shipping to my location. Item was delivered in perfect shape and no damage. The hardest part was getting it onto my RV roof. Perfect fit except for the new bolt down points were threaded. My manufacture Entegra originally used self drilling screws to attach to roof. I just drilled out the new threaded holes and used my original bolts. Everything worked great and now back to cooling !
