The Thimble Pack Plus is not only a great deal, but a great idea. I've tried several types of thimbles recently, and never found one of the traditional ones that fit my (admittedly pretty good-sized) fingers comfortably. These thimbles don't cover the finger completely -- just a small spot where your needle hits repeatedly. The packet contains two metal "thimbles" --- one with a textured face like a regular thimble, one that's smooth -- that are adhered to whichever finger is most comfortable. Also in the packet are double-sided adhesive dots that are a tad tricky to get onto the metal thimble, but once you get the knack, it's a breeze. Put an adhesive dot on your finger, slip off the covering on the second side and place the thimble of your choice atop the dot and press. You now have a perfect thimble, with tons of flexibility of movement. The thimbles don't cover the whole finger. Your finger doesn't get moist from a rubber thimble, or uncomfortable from a metal one that's not quite a perfect fit. The adhesive dots can be kept and reused for quite a while before needing changing. I just finished a major quilting project with nary a prick or callus, and am absolutely delighted with this inexpensive and really good find.

These little thimble pads are great, especially when you do not need a full thimble. Full thimbles are good for hand quilting, where you push your needle up and down through the layers in a running stitch. But full thimbles get in my way when doing other hand sewing, so these thimble pads are just the ticket. I gave four stars for adhesion - but I would really give four and one half stars. They stuck to my finger very well, but after a few hours tended to shift slightly to the side. Easy enough to re-position, so that is a minor issue. After several hours of sewing the needle did not once punch through to my finger tip. Highly recommended!

The leather circles are my preferred items in the pack as I utilize them for hand quilting, and the thread glides smoothly without snagging on the leather. Each circle lasts for approximately 10 uses before the adhesive loses its effectiveness. Additionally, the adhesive dots used with the small thimbles make for a suitable alternative to a complete thimble when tucking under the quilt sandwich.

I use them when hand quilting, protects fingers from needle pricks and pushing needle thru several layers. They stick well and can be reused if need be

Love these leather dots for hand sewing. I quilt and sew and use them most every day. Make sure you have no lotion on your fingers when using these dots and you'll get several uses out of them before they won't stick anymore. I wish they had some sort of adhesive disk that fit these dots so you could get even more use from them as they eventually get to the point they won't stick to your finger. It's nice to have the ability to push a needle through whatever fabric you're sewing on and not have to have a thimble on. Thimbles always make my finger sweaty then I have to stop what I'm doing to dry them out. This works so much better for me.

Metal piece didn’t work to big for finger. Adhesive leather fit the best and adhesion very good. Not sure how costly it will be to replace adhesive sticky dots.

I enjoy hand quilting and I like these stick on thimbles more than a traditional metal or leather style thimble. It doesn't fall off and I have better ability to use my fingers. Also, it's easy to use with my longer fingernails.

I just started crafting Christmas ornaments. Pushing dozens of pins through layers of fabric and into foam can quickly damage your fingers. A friend suggested these. Don't bother getting this combo package, unless you really think you need the metal, which was a tad awkward to get started anyway. The leather ones are really sturdy, and they are reuseable. I just keep mine stuck to the side of my magnetic pin cushion. Great product!!!
