Not as described. These are 3 to 4", not even close to 6 to 7" as described. Even the baggie they are in is only 4" or less. Ridiculous! Waste of time.

Advertised as 6" to 7" quills, the longest was 3.25".Very disappointed, unusable for the project for which they were intended.

Smaller than I thought they'd, but in their capacity as sculpting tools, this is not a problem. As far as their usefulness in sewing, I wouldn't know. They are about 3 and 14th inch and pretty thin. I've owned a larger quill before though. The quill I previously owned was about 7 inches, so that's a pretty big difference. These also thinner and feel like they may be more fragile than the previous one I owned. For making fine details when sculpting clay, they work really well, but I can definitely see why they may not be ideal at this size for other things.
