I really appreciate the ability for custom sizing. This one was 11’x29’. I had been planning on making my own shade sail for a lot more money before I found this. I just finished putting it up over my clear roofed solarium that gets very hot in the sun. I wish I had ordered a foot larger in each dimension now for a little better coverage. It is hard to figure out the exact sizing it needs to be for something this large, with stretching and needing to account for hardware. But overall I am pleased. I wish there were a few more colors to choose from, but the green looks nice enough. It seemed very well made and sturdy putting it up. Glad it has the stainless cable reinforcement. My turnbuckles were almost giving out from the tension, but the shade was not phased. I thought I would not be able to tighten in enough to keep the middle from sitting on the roof, but it cinched up nicely with the turnbuckles for ample clearance.

Has survived 18 months in the high desert. Blistering temps, blazing sun, high winds, heavy wet snow and hail. It really hasn’t aged at all. This is a really well made product.

Works on a boat dock with heavy prevailing winds. Cable reinforcement makes all the difference. Takes a lot of tension to set the shape properly, and not easy to install, so watch a couple of installation videos if this is your first. Also, we suggest buying heavier hardware than what’s offered in the “installation kits†sold here. They’re just not capable of handling conditions that this sail stands up to. That said, it’s a great shade sail and worth the extra money. Holds up under pretty extreme conditions (60+ mph winds here). Not waterproof but knew that buying it. Waterproofed it ourselves with a silicone / mineral spirits “bathâ€. No color change.

I got this to use as a sun shade for my Tesla Model Y. Here in San Diego, to sun is strong and the car gets very hot. I got the 18x20 size and it is perfect. Attached 2 ends to the house and had to install 2 -10 foot 4x4 poles for the other 2 corners. Most of the work was in digging and cementing in the poles. We had a rain and the rain does run thru the sail, but it tends to drip in the lowest spot as shown in the photo, It does cool off the car. Here at beginning of May the car would reach 134 deg inside and now with the sail it was reading 87 degs. (77 outside car). The brown color looks good with the brown pressure treated poles and my brown roof. I also used a self contained rachet strap to reach the furthest pole. This works out well as I can easily re-tighten the sail as it stretches. The only real complaint is the width of the sail is a lot smaller than the nominal width. The distance from corner to corner measures just over 18 feet however the actual width is only 14' 7" in the middle. The sides curve in a lot.

this was the super shade sail, which had the cable running around the perimeter of the sail. When you get it it has slack cable protruding on each corner (in our case, 4 on the rectangle). We purchased a 20' x 24' to cover our 21' round above ground pool, and it covered around 90 - 95% of the pool. Product quality was good, but there were no installation instructions. By instructions, I was looking for install/tensioning tips, but there were none. We called around mid-day, but it was almost dark by the time they called back. I tightened enough to where almost all of the cable slack was absorbed. I assume that was sufficient, but time will tell. Overall, a good product for a reasonable price. And boy did it help! Dropped our pool temperature an average of 8 degrees, which is huge! It would get up to around 94 degrees in the middle of the day. Now it peaks at 88 degrees. For you folks with a pool you know what a difference that is!!!

Very strong grommets. But add at least 12†more distance for each post than you think you need. It will stretch.BUT, the cable crimps broke and the cable pulled out. I tried to find a way to call the seller. But all I could get was voice response given me Tex number or email address. I gave up and opened the seems and reconnectThe cable with cable clamps. Needless to say. “I’m not very satisfied with this product. Now if I could have talked to a representative it would have been much better. So if buy this product and it holds up I bet you will like it.But it breaks like mine did, good luck taking to a rep.

Do not purchase from colour tree. They sell globally / internationally and claim to have a premium product with 5 yr warranty on a 24ft x24ft shade sail i purchased. It came with a defect which I reported immediately upon receiving. Just shortly after a few months it started tearing on the edge. They advised it’s cover under warranty when I got in touch. They agreed to send me a new one however I must pay $300 shipping. This is absolutely unacceptable and more than twice the amount they charged to send it the first time to Australia which was $130 aud. The box was small and reasonably light - 2-3 kgs or so.Clearly their warranty is a fraud and there is no full disclosure and will happily leave you without any effort to rectify such issue.I have a smaller locally purchased shade sail that is 4m x 4m and purchased for approximately $79 aud from Bunnings 4 yrs ago. No defect at all in this period and still going strong. The colour tree product should be superior compared to the locally sourced shade sail but apparently not.
