In the late afternoon/early evening in summer, the sun shines intensely onto our covered deck. We tried a diy project, hanging sun shade fabric, but it looked terrible. Pre-made roller shades in sunscreen fabric are very expensive and we couldn't find a size in the ready-made options that would work. Custom shades were out of the question. This sun shade was the perfect solution. The perfect size was available. It installed easily and will come down just as easily to store it for the winter. The quality of the shade and accessories is excellent. The color is great. Very happy with this purchase.

A great shade. The ring attachments at the corners are way more sturdy than grommets. Very happy. Its been outside in the sun for a year or so.

Purchased in April to shade my pool equipment. Still doing its' job as of this review in August. It has withstood 26 mph winds and the 304 stainless D rings held superbly. It has survived 118° Arizona temperatures as well.I am impressed.

These are before and after pics. When purchasing you want to give yourself at least 12†minimum per corner on your mounting. So a 15’ tarp needs at least 17’ to give you room for hardware and tightening of tarp. Mines in phoenix az so gets pretty hot and expanse quite a bit. I also used springs on one side(2 places) for wind. Shade is of good quality. Definitely helps! Thank You.

Excellent product. I really like how the edges don’t bow inward as much between the grommets as this helps to block even more direct sunlight in my patio space to help my plants thrive in the hot desert sun. Also, I received the sail a few days early so very happy overall. Eden’s Decor is now my go to supplier for sun shade sails.

I bought a custom size beige sail shades. They are not waterproof so water won’t pool up on top which is what I wanted. The shade they give is perfect. We have no trees for shade so these make our deck tolerable during peak sunlight hours. My house plants that would have gotten scorched are loving the filtered light they are getting under these shades. We bought a mounting kit on Amazon and also bought sail shade springs to give them more give during windy storms. We mounted them on heavy duty poles that we attached to the deck and also had to buy some bulk chain from the hardware store. When choosing a size make sure you get a mall enough size that you have 1.5’-2’ extra on each corner for hardware and tightening/adjusting. I’ve included photos of the mounting hardware and poles. I think figuring out how to mount them took some figuring out so I hope my pics and suggestions can help someone.

Color matches what is shown in pictures. True to size and corners have strong rings for attaching to poles/wall/fence, etc. This is a lightweight but strong fabric – does a good job to block the sun. I really like that it has straight, square edges – I definitely like this better than other shades that have longer corners and “dips†in the centers of each side, this provides much better coverage. Ordered 1’-2’ shorter than the full measurement of the porch area as suggested and it “stretches†into place very well. Instead of using the provided ropes, I used trampoline springs… but that’s just me.

This sun shade is very, very well made and blocks the sun on our south facing balcony really well. I'm very happy that it has helped cut down on the amount of heat entering our living room through the patio doors. The shade has a large grommet on each corner and was so easy to install. It took us about 5 minutes to stall the hooks (we used ceiling hooks because our balcony railing is wood as well as the half roof overhead) and put up the shade. Worth every penny and I highly recommend it.
