I ordered the Comet and Meteor Boomerang 2 Pack for my 8-year-old son, and he likes them. It is a two pack with a yellow and blue one, and they seem about the same to me. There are directions inside that are pretty extensive that show you how to work with the boomerang with how to throw it and at what angle and what to expect. My son has been playing with him outside with his neighbor friend. Initially, I couldn't also test these out like my son did as he lost one and the other went on the roof, but I found the missing one and it's fun. It doesn't go too far, and practice makes perfect. If you have a fenced in yard that is small, you might want to bring them to the park so you don't lose them in the neighbor's yard or be like my child who likes to throw everything on the roof for some reason.

These are made of a light foam so they are fairly safe for kids. They could be used indoor in an open space without causing too much damage. They still have enough weight when thrown to knock things over (like picture frames). They are quite difficult to achieve a boomerang flight. The are more fun to play catch. They are not as scary as plastic frisbees for younger kids. The outdoor version seems to be the same as the indoor. Given the light weight they don't do well in any kind of wind. Overall these can be fun as soft frisbees for kids or if you have the patience the can boomerang with practice.

I’m not sure who threw these when they were made but maybe we didn’t do it correctly? I wouldn’t recommend these as I feel they’re really flimsy, not sturdy,& not worth it. Took the “outdoor†one to the pool but realized their both made the same with different colors. They don’t do as advertised. I don’t recommend these.

These are a great twist on the old classic plastic boomerangs I had as a kid. Made of fairly durable foam, these are lightweight and fun to fiddle with. I've thrown it a couple dozen times and read the instructions and also watched the video and still cannot get it to fly back to me as easily as they make it seem. I admittedly was outside and had a lot of trees and shrubbery close by but usually it would spin to the outside instead of cutting an inner loop. The kids had fun tossing them, but eventually they lost interest as neither of us could finesse properly to get it to return.

Good value for two small gifts. I like that it's something that got the kids outdoors and persevering until they got the hang of it. Lightweight, fun, different!

My kids I have been playing with these outside and having a ton of fun. It takes some practice and tweaking to get the boomerangs to actually come back to you. Since these are lightweight they aren't going to come back to you in any kind of wind based on my experience. The main difference I have seen between the two boomerangs is how tight of a flight pattern they have. Both boomerangs are soft enough that my kids haven't managed to break anything inside with them. When flying these in the house though I have yet to manage to actually get it to fly around a room and come back. I would say both are better suited to outdoors but they are still fun inside. So far they are holding up well after being played with for a couple weeks.
