Definitely didn't hold up the weight of my string lights. Had to use other adhesive methods. Adhesive is very easy to get mushed up during removal of the liner.

DOES NOT ADHERE TO ANYTHING AT ALL. The clear adhesive strip must have been super old or stored in bad conditions, because it was dried up and not sticky at all. The blue/black paper liner on the strip just fell off with me even trying to remove it- there was no adhesive left whatsoever. I even still tried to stick it to my window, holding it there for 30 seconds just in case it was like some kind of new non-sticky adhesive strip or something, but as soon as I let it go, it'd fall to the ground.Sort the reviews of this product by Most Recent - almost all of them are negative and everyone has had the same issue. There's a real BAD batch of Command hooks/strips sitting out in and withering away in the poor conditions of an Amazon warehouse somewhere! They should know they have an issue with this product and do some sort of quality control, but they won't because they know we'll all just keep buying their crap, regardless of how unsustainable and obnoxious their practices are, just because it's convenient.What annoys me the most is how Amazon handles returns for small items with obvious quality control issues like this! They insist on you repackaging the item in "its original packaging" and dropping it back off somewhere to be mailed back to them...Well, I had to tear the packet apart to get the hook out and even see the adhesive strip, much less be able to tell it was useless, and I immediately tossed the packaging. If I had the time to go wait in line at UPS just to send your $4 shoddy Command hook back, I'd have had the time to just buy it at a physical store in the first place.Don't be obnoxious about it by requiring me to package and return an already-overpriced little piece of useless plastic that didn't serve it's intended purpose whatsoever. Just refund my $4! As it stands, I guess I should just spend more money and get a refill pack of the Command strips, but you can now bet your soul I'll just wait to do that in a store - I won't be ordering those from Amazon.

Easy to use, good appearance, used command for windows and used to hang bird feeder. Very sturdy, good size. Have not removed yet to know if that was easy but it looks like it would be.

The clear tabs were glued to the cardboard, as if they picked up moisture. I had to cut the tips as they looked bad on clear glass. I removed the black liner, applied to the glass, and pressed as described. When peeling off the Blue liner, the strip started to become unglued. Many girations to get it to stick. Probably not good for four pounds, but enough for my need.s I have used many of the other plastic hooks before with no issues, that is why I think these packs were not fresh. This is probably why they were on special.

These are absolute garbage. I wanted to use them to hang really tiny spider decorations on my front porch. I followed all of the directions, yet none of the hooks held. This was with essentially zero weight on them. I tried multiple times, cleaning thoroughly, pressing them firmly, leaving them for 1 hour before using and none of them held. I do not recommend you purchase these!!

My living room window is filled with stained glass birds, butterflies, flowers because I hate curtains. I use a variety of sizes of these hangers (usually medium) The hold really well and aren't really unsightly.
