I don’t want to invest in an electric can opener but my hands are such that it is difficult for me to use a conventional manual can opener. This product is a perfect solution. The ease of use should make the typical hand crank type obsolete.

The hand crank is much easier to operate than the normal turn tab style opener. Crank is a bit longer than it should be so it hits the counter top on each revolution. Have learned to operate with the can on the edge of the counter with the crank turning parallel to the counter rim.

Biggest- you know what, I've ever bought!!!! The most I've been able to cut through a can is 'maybe!!' an inch!!! I cannot even make a pot of sloppy joe's after a long days work without pushing the cutter over and over again into the can; or using a spoon to tear through the spots that this opener wouldn't cut on a can. This can opener looks pretty, but I'd rather buy a cheap can opener every couple months from Wal-Mart than ever using this product/thing again!!! ; I am pretty sure most (or ALL) buyers would feel the same. I cannot even give one star to this product! Like I said- I'd rather buy the cheapest can opener at Wal-Mart!! Hopefully you haven't, or don't, waste your money on this!!

Works very well for me since I am a senior adult with hand problems.Nice for big cans.Made very well and heavy metal with extra strength.No zag it edges and are smooth.Like it doesn't need electricity or counter space.Easy to store in drawer.

I have real small hands and a weak grip. This can opener saves my hands from pain and frustration. So glad I bought it. The end of the handle flips up or out., great for storing in drawer. I wish i had bought this years ago and saved myself some frustration and pain.
