Was so excited to get my can opener yesterday, just so that I could attempt to use and as usual, send it back, because no one could possibly make a can opener that wasn’t upside down, inside out and backwards and was user friendly to a south paw. It is truly “The World’s Best Can Openerâ€. The handles are easy to grip and they are slightly longer than the ones from the all in one superstore and the coating on the handles had a nice feel in your hand, and not to bulky at all. Cuts perfectly, turn handle is smooth, it doesn’t come off of the can half way around the lid (where you end up with little spots that didn’t get cut). I immediately said goodbye to the old one. And made in the USA and supports our vets!!! Definitely worth the money spent. So…..buy this can opener!!!

Opens cans quickly, efficiently, easily. Doesn’t strain hands or fingers: vital for people with hands that are small, weak, or arthritic.Other can openers are a struggle. Their blades don’t cut. Their turning wheels lose traction and spin. Their turning knobs are too short or too thin and so they have less leverage and surface for your hands and fingers to grip — which causes needless strain to hands and fingers.When it’s challenging for me, and I’m strong and able, then I know it’s exceptionally difficult for children, people with special needs, the elderly, people with arthritis, people recovering from a hand injury, or people with weak hands.As a father of special needs children, one who focuses on various people with disabilities, I analyze and look for products that help people as opposed to products that look flashy but give suboptimal or needlessly frustrating performance.

This product is very solid cuts nice no issues at all. Comes well packages no concern of damage and showed up fast! Amazon estimated the delivery to be 7-10 days it showed up in 3! I ordered an additional OXO can opener at the same time (our cheap old one broke one night on a can of tomato paste so we bought two) and the OXO was prime shipping. Very happy with the opener. feels sturdy easy to turn. Will update if any issues are encountered.SUPPORT USA PRODUCTS!!!!!!

Had for over a year. All the rivets and hardware holding up so much better than others, BUT the circular cutting wheel needs to be a bit larger as it just doesn't cut deep enough on cans. It worked great initially but I think the edge dulled or worn such that it just doesn't reach deep enough anymore as seen on this tuna can.

apprehensive at first because it looked similar to a made in China piece of junk I bought, could not be more wrong. This is an excellent opener the quality is apparent first time you use it, works very well and has a very sharp cutting edge.

This is exactly the kind of can opener that I, as a senior, was looking for. It pierces the lid without forceand then just glides around the edge as it cuts. No force is necessary. The ONLY thing that might be added is a magnet to hold the lid.

Wouldn't even peirce the can! And the rubber handle keeps sliding off! So disappointed! As usual with anything Amazon sells, junk.
