Works as described. Better than open mic in loud areas. Also reduces the feedback if your around other radios.

Update: Unfortunately the spring on the Mic clip broke in November of 2019, 6 months after purchase. So I'm deducting a star. The headset is still functional, just the mic will have to hang loose. Its rather disappointing that it breaks after only 6 months.OG Post:I bought this in late May of 2019 so I don't have to deal with the unpredictability of film sets having enough headsets for PA's. I picked this one because it comes with a both a pair of standard ear tips and a pair of ear molds which was a Really convenient set for a PA just starting out and in a very nice price range. Its compatible with most Motorola CP200 radios I've encountered on most film sets and even some variant Motorola radio models. This surveillance has been holding up really well so far in all sorts of weather and set conditions: in the rain, the heat, sweat, hauling gear, drops on the ground, etc.Being a 5ft tall female, I personally prefer the shorter cable; a lot of sets provide the standard 2 wire surveillance, which meant a lot of extra cable on my shorter frame that frequently gets caught on various film gear, door knobs, c-stands, and furniture. The shorter length has drastically reduced this hazard while still have enough length for me to adjust the position of my walkie on my belt for comfort. The cable maybe too short for someone half a foot or more taller than me though. The microphone is ergonomic and clicky, almost like a fidget toy, best not to get too into pressing it. One minor flaw would be the microphone clip, I wish it was wider like the one near the ear tube, so it would be easier to clip onto clothing. The ear mold is relatively comfortable, and the pink color makes it almost invisible in my ear (I am light skinned), making the headset discreet for those coffee runs. The mold is actually too big for my ear; I wore it correctly with the large nub facing up as directed in the instructions in the beginning. Then I noticed that the large nub and the mold's size would start to hurt my ear after about 6-8 hours; so I flipped it, I now wear the mold upside down with the larger nub facing down (in doing this, you will have to wear the left and right ear molds to the opposite side.) This solved my problem, I am now completely comfortable wearing the ear mold this way for 12-16+ hour shoot days, and it stays put really well. I carry the spare pair of standard ear tips with me as they double nicely as a pair of ear plugs and backup incase anything happens the ear molds.Tip: Still clean your personal headset especially the ear wig/mold with alcohol wipes before every use, I did not do this in starting out and ended up with a rather large painful pimple growing on the entrance of my left ear canal, that made wearing surveillances unbearable for a few days. It is also a good idea to keep the spare ear mold with you for switching sides. If I have time I'll comeback and update how long this surveillance lasts.

Not cheap quality, works when I got the product, normally from other sellers the product is crap or broken and I have to replace it. I really recommend this, thank you!

Can only hear it with my volume maxed. And it’s not discrete. The sound that emits to the acoustic tube emits enough sound that anyone standing within 10ft can hear what’s being transmitted. Works for fun but I wouldn’t use it in a security capacity.

We use Advanced Wireless brand radios at my job. The radios come with headsets that wrap around your ear and those don’t fit my small ears. So I was looking for some that can just plug into my ears. These fit perfectly. Way cheaper than most I have found too. Sound quality is great too. Highly recommend.

I have to use a headset for work once a week. It has stopped working and it's not used very often. The only thing that comes through is static when I try to use it. After struggling for the last few days at work I have decided to throw it away. I want my money back!

Use it for security at a night club. Works great with CP200 radios.
