Degreeing positions the camshaft to get the best performance out of your engine, so that you can get the most horsepower and torque possible from your application. This degree kit ships with everything required to degree a camshaft when the cylinder heads are off the engine, including a 9 inches degree wheel, wire degree wheel pointer, heads off cam checking fixture, 0-1 inches travel dial indicator, 5 inches dial indicator extension, plate-style top dead center (TDC) stop, crankshaft socket and instructions. It is kept safe and secure in the included foam-padded carrying case.

Looks like a great kit with high quality and I would have given it 5 stars however it will not work with LS 5.3 liter chevy or GM engines. The proper kit for those by comp cams is part number CCA-4942. Hope that helps everyone out.
