The last 2 sets of these lifters I installed made clicking noise , a short time after break in,quality is suffering I'm looking into other brands

Worked great in my Buick riviera with the 430 motor. Prior to installation I let them soak in oil for 2 days. Also made sure to prime my oil pump again. Just Incase. Had them in for about a week so far and no issues

These are crap 2 lifters out 16 failed filled my engine full of metal .the others caved in in the centre .Also half of them pumped up and were stiff the other half didn’t pump up at all. I used copious amounts of Lucas synthetic assembly lube fresh Castrol Gtx oil and a complete bottle of cam zinc additive . I broke them in at 2000 rpm for 20 minutes after starting the engine right away. I have to completely tear my engine down now to clean out the metal I’m so done with this American mentality of selling a quality brand name product and outsourcing to China to manufacture .Edelbrock is case and point .
