This was supposed to be a dead match for my typewriter (Yes, I'm the only one left in the world with a typewriter!) It is not. There is a notch missing in the bottom which doesn't allow it to seat properly. I may be able to drill a hole in the bottom to match the original and get it operating. So far, not money well spent.
