This is just the right size for kitchen scraps, and it really does keep bugs out while being odor free. It looks nice enough to sit on the counter, but I keep it under the sink as to have more room when I don't need it.Clean up is easy because the inside bucket comes right out for emptying into the mulch pile. I love it!

This is so much better than the metal can I was using. A plastic bucket holds the compost and fits inside the attractive metal can. Easy to clean too.

We have ordered a number of compost bins for our house, and I find the similar thing happening with most of them. It happened with this band too. After a while, the plastic insert gets smelly or the handle on the plastic. Insert begins to rust. I would say that these bands are good for maybe six months before the rust happened or the Ben gets too smelly. I wish there was a way I could just order the insert. Now if you wanna talk about function and fashion, we can do that. Fashionably this thing is great. It looks really good on our count

I needed a compost bin for the counter to gather my scraps in until I took them out to the garden. This is a little bigger than what I hoped but it’s just what I needed. I love the plastic bucket inside that holds the scraps. It’s easy to remove, dump, wash and start over. The handle inside to carry it with is very convenient. Keeping moisture away from the metal exterior is a big positive for me as well.I’m very happy with it. No leaks, no smells, and very convenient.

This compost bin is fine and works well, and I have no regrets buying it. I like the removal plastic liner. It's much better than fussing with those compost bags that always tear. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's a little smaller than I expected and the metal is super thin. Like possibly thinner than a tin can. So I'm a little concerned about long-term durability, but so far it's holding up well.

I bought this hoping it would really fit my needs, and it does! I wanted something small enough (and cute enough) to sit on my kitchen counter - check. It must be odor free - check. It seals well and comes with an extra silicone gasket. It also has a charcoal filter that sits in the lid, and an extra filter is included as well. The inner bucket is perfect as it has its own handle so is easily removable from the outer bucket. Carry that inner bucket to your compost pile, dump it, wash it, and fill that bad boy up again with food scraps! Love it!
