This is a good kit to have handy in the garage - I work on a lot of old cars and old parts where old springs can be weak, broken or missing. This kit provides 99% of those that are needed in my experience so far.

I have a very old bathtub fixture. It's drain/stopper lever stopped working because the spring that held it up or down had rusted away. Finding an assortment of Stainless Steel springs that included one of the correct size saved the day. I fixed the lever stopper without having to replace the entire bathtub fixture.The one spring that I used was worth the purchase price, and now I have an entire box of stainless steel springs on hand for the next project!

I'm a fixit kind of guy. I like to keep things like these springs on hand.So, my new car had an issue where the fuel door was not popping open when you pull the lever from inside the car.Enter this set of springs.I was able to mount on of these springs behind the fuel door, and now it opens effortlessly.
