Compression Gauge
Cylinder pressure gauge is equipped with 3" large dial protected by rubber cover, dual range red for 0-20bar and black for 0-300psi, build-in check valve and release valve on the stem, quick coupler on the bottom of stem. Featured with easy to read, pressure-maintaining function and quick connection.
Extension Hose and 4 Adapters
16" rubber resin hose, with one side brass quick plug for pressure gauge quick coupler, and 14mm brass thread fittings on the other side connects to adapters. 10mm 12mm 14mm 18mm 4 types brass adapters are suitable for most types and depth spark plug well.
Straight and Angled Push-on Connectors
Around 6" long aluminum stem with quick plug and rubber tapered tip, the straight and angled push-on connectors can replace the 4 types appropriative adapters for connecting easily and quickly. They are also suitable for some types and depth spark plug well, which the appropriative adapters do not fit.
EASY TO TEST ENGINE COMPRESSION
- After the engine runs to normal temperature, turn off the engine, and then perform a pressure test.
- It is necessary to remove the ignition coil of the spark plug during the pressure test.
- Start the engine for 1-3 seconds and then shut off immediately.
- The normal pressure of most cylinders is above 100PSI.
- Two people are required to cooperate when using a universal cone head.
- The connection can only be disconnected after the pressure is relieved by the pressure relief valve.
USAGE AND FUNCTION
JIFETOR engine cylinder compression measuring meter tool set is perfect for checking compression pressure on most gasoline/gas/fuel engine cylinder, but not suitable for most diesel engine because of the low pressure range 0-300PSI.
Assist to diagnose following problems:
- Valve sticking
- Carbon build-up
- Cracked cylinder head or defective main gasket
- Poorly seated or worn piston rings Burned or damaged piston
A variation in compression readings between cylinders is often a better indication of engine problems than the absolute values of compression.

checked the compression on my stihl chain saw and kombi system . got three different measurements. could be not the same amount of pull on each stroke. works great. weed eater had not enough compression where chain saw is where its supposed to be. worth the money. easy to use

Excellent, did the job as needed. Multiple adapter fittings to fit various engines. 14mm fitting fit my small block 350. Accurate and easy to read.

This an accurate gauge set with all the neccessary adaptors to tackle any small engine and is most valuable on 2 cycle engines where proper commpression means everything for the engine to run. The blow molded case is cheap and after a few uses the lid hinge split.

If you have a small engine like on a weed eater or small chainsaw, how do you test the compression? You need one hand to pull the starter cord and one hand to hold the machine firmly. Having to hold in place a hand held compression tester just doesn't work very well. This tester with fittings that screw into the sparkplug hole does the job just fine. I am happy with mine.
