KNOW full well WHAT THIS DOES; you put a bullet style round in these, they don't have a bullet at the end, the nail is the projectile...so know full well you're SHOOTING into concrete...and a great many bad things can result.Usually it's spall that shoots in all directions...so FULL PPE (personal protective equipment) is suggested - you do you, I don't work for osha...but have been 'shot' in the shin by ricochets.Like other nail guns it's got a safety spring on the front...you press down and push like your safety depends on it, because it does...you're shooting a hardened steel nail into concrete.Oh yeah...the kicker...most home concrete may NOT BE 'hardened' for these - so plan on a few (many failures) - don't get near edges unless you want some cracks...and do expect some sparks and splatter - so sure don't use this around 'flammable' stuff.When/if you get a nail to grip they do hold incredibly well...but maybe prone to failure as things expand and contract differently at temperatures...as well now there's a hole that might permit moisture to intrude and freeze/thaw becomes an issue...heck whole mountains fall through erosion and freeze/thaw.These kick back like the dickens...the harder the material the harder the kick - we were using these to secure down tubing which would later be encased on concrete...this concrete was 5000 psi because that's what the navy demanded....home concrete is often 2000 psi in non structural spots (like where most of us might use these).

I was installing electrical conduit in my workshop and I was having a terrible time drilling and hammering anchors in on the concrete slab and drilling through the aluminum purlins on a ladder was even more difficult a friend suggested a nail gun .So I began investigating nail guns I found that the brand hilti certainly had nail guns but we're two three four and $500 depending on your needs I investigated another company by ram set and the lowest price when I could find was $100 when I found this concrete nail for less than half of the name brand ones I ordered it immediately now mind you anybody using a nail gun you should read all the instructions know the limitations and know the product limitations as well I was shooting nails into quarter inch aluminum purlins and to average tensile strength concrete . The nail gun came with the nails and all the tools necessary in a case to keep everything in with enough nails to keep me banging along it blasted nails through the through my electrical boxes into the purlins I don't think they're ever going to come off as far as mounting boxes on the slab without a problem as well oh get hearing protection too your going to need it !! As well as eye protection. I'm very impressed at how well it worked considering how inexpensive it was in comparison to other brands it fitted my needs perfectly it was well made it worked flawlessly and I will be ordering replacement nails to do other things around the house repair my fences is the next project. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who was looking for an inexpensive nail gun option that works just as well as some of the name brand ones

So got this to do some work on my mom’s garage and I found it interesting to use as a new hammer gun user. At first, it took a moment to learn how to load as you can adjust different levels of power on the end. The first time you use it, it will give you a little bit of a shock because it’s kind of like a 22 going off. It is pretty impressive and will drive a nail. It is however, when the nail goes in, it can move from your hand so I advise wearing gloves. The gloves they give you are kind of cheap, however, so I moved up to a heavier, leather glove. Overall, however, you are limited as to where to put the gun versus a standard manual hammer as you need to be able to push in and setting it beside a wall can be a little difficult Overall, it’s kind of neat however it is limited on use.

Good construction and reliable engineering. It comes with many loaded nail assemblies for the gun. Definitely need hearing protection. The first shot into this 4x4 made that clear. I tried it out on very dense/heavy 4x4 pressure treated timber. First shot (labeled 4/IV) I had all four screws in the gun. As you can see, wood isn't a match for this gun even with three of the four "vent' screws removed. I'd remove all four screws if using this gun to mount anything to lumber. No doubt why this gun was created; concrete nailing.

This is a great little concrete nail gun. It will punch a nail through wood and into your concrete securing it well. It does a great job doing what is supposed to do.Just know what you're doing before you start. It fires a nail like a bullet into the concrete. That means you really need to follow the directions and expect that the concrete you are firing into will chip, throw chips at an extremely high rate of speed that might hit you in the leg or even the eye, so be sure to wear goggles, and protective gear as well as you can.As a tool I'm very pleased with the quality, functionality, weight, and usability.
