Using this Coolpo Conference Speaker is a substantial step up from the speakerphone in your wireless phone. You would expect this to be so as this external speaker is so much bigger than the speakerphone feature in a small cell phone. To help keep expectations in line, comparing this Coolpo to a professional office grade speakerphone, the sound quality, the clarity and the noise canceling features are just not quite on par with, nor are they the same as a professional grade office conference speaker. So if you are looking for something for home use or small business use with maybe 2 or 3 people sharing in the conversation on your side, this could be a decent choice. I work from home and I don't like tge headsets and my earbuds are not reliable or comfortable. I decided to go with this option and it has worked very well. I'm extremely pleased. It doesn't take up much space on my desk either.

I threw it against the concrete because the mic kept going in and out which did break it but even the few times it worked the background noise on both ends was deafening. Definitely wouldn’t buy this for phone calls
