It’s pretty freaking cool. When you have a tight spot and just need some guidance...this tool is awesome. It locks the mold so you can move the shape and trace it to paper or mold. It even has a sturdy stand with ruler measurements. I had to get into a space next to the toilet.

So, I am so inexperienced with measuring and how to cut things and such. This product is something that my son and I each got. We use it carefully to get the best results from it. It is made out of plastic, like so many other products these days, but if you take good care of it, it will do well for you. We have not had any issues concerning this and we were so glad to see it out there as we had hoped to have something like this so often. Yes, I recommend both for the experienced and the inexperienced to save time and money. REMEMBER THIS GOOD RULE: MEASURE TWICE, CUT ONCE and you should not have much of a problem if you come out with two measurements exactly the same. Good luck in your project as this should make you have a better time of it.

Could be smoother. May wear down to be smoother during use-currently hard to push. Lock is okay. Price for performance is above average. Does the job!

The small contour gauge is useless but the large unit well worth the money. I used both pieces while installing laminate flooring. After a couple measurements on a tub base I put the small gauge in my toolbox and only used the large gauge. Much easier and more accurate. I would recommend this product as an inexpensive limited use around the house but not for the professional craftsman.

Super fast delivery! This product could not have came at a more perfect time, my husband was actually laying flooring in our bathroom as it got delivered and we immediately opened it and began using it, we couldn’t believe how much smoother and faster the project went after using this gauge! Super easy to use, literally just unboxed it and began taking measurements!

I’m a contractor. This gauge does a decent job. The teeth are relatively wide so the line you trace comes out like you would draw it on an etch-a-sketch. Small details, like ogee, it will give you an idea of but you will need to do a little creative smoothing of the line to get smaller profile outlines right. Definitely better to have this than not though.

Bonjour, je recommande ce produit car il est de très bonne qualité, dimension suffisante pour mes besoins et bonne prise en main. Je suis totalement satisfait de cet article, il est très pratique pour reproduire une forme et très simple d'utilisation lorsque l'on vient d’acquérir une maison neuve et faire des travaux de parquet et de carrelage .

Se trata de una herramienta bien simple pero de mucha utilidad, ya que nos permite cortar moquetas y otros materiales con la medida y forma exacta de la zona donde lo tenemos que colocar. De esta forma, no quedan agujeros ni tenemos que retocarlo decenas de veces hasta que quede correctamente. Sirve para marcos de puertas, tubos, y en general cualquier zona que no sea totalmente recta, con el ángulo que sea.Basta con presionar el molde (con el seguro quitado) contra la zona que necesitamos “clonarâ€, presionando un poco por los lados para que no se abran las varillas, cuando la tenemos bien definida giramos el seguro para que no se muevan las varillas, retiramos el molde y lo colocamos sobre la superficie a cortar para marcarla y poder cortarla de manera precisa.Es totalmente de plástico pero se nota suficientemente resistente para un uso no intensivo ni profesional. Se incluyen 2 moldes, uno de 12,5cm y otro de 25, para poderlo usar e introducir en cualquier rincón o esquina sin que sea demasiado grande para poderlo usar.En general una herramienta muy sencilla pero a la vez muy práctica y funcional, fácil de usar y sin mantenimiento.

Dovendo finire vari lavori per completare la ristrutturazione di casa, ho acquistato questo kit per finire le rifiniture dei rivestimenti e per i battiscopa... che dire facilita la vita in un modo impressionante; prima di questo creavo una dima con della carta ma impiegavo 10 volte il tempo!con il replicatore invece lo avvicino al profilo che mi interessa e ne replico la forma, con la levetta apposita blocco lo scorrimento e disegno sul supporto da tagliare il profilo acquisito! che dire, è uno strumento semplice ma salvatempo!da notare che la levetta non è scontato che ci sia! ho cercato parecchi modelli simili e alla fine ho scelto questo kit che ne include due, uno grande e uno piccolo, ottimo per adattarsi a ogni tipo di situazione!decisamente consigliato da tenere in casa per i lavori fai da te e bricolage! ;)
