Pedal Works great but the older pedal works with 4 wires. This is a 3 wire pedal but all you have to do is eliminate the red wire from the old pedal and it works great. Connect the black, white and green and you're good to go.Quality still looks good just like the older pedal and is heavy. it wont slip around all over the floor. very nice.

I bought this for my Dremel because of the reviews. I wanted a foot pedal for easy of use and this one works perfect.It is NOT LIGHT WEIGHT. It stays put on the floor so there is no chasing it around. The foot pedal takes a bit of pushing to get a high speed but it could be because of my short foot.It is a plug and play. I dialed my Dremel to high and plugged it in to the foot pedal and it gave me variable speed hands free. Don't hesitate to buy. Worth every penny.

THIS is the holy grail of TRUE VARIABLE speed pedals. I needed a pedal that I could control speed to use with w Dremel [395 variable speed] along w flex shaft. I bought a cheap plastic alternative prior and was disappointed that you could not control speed. This is one beefy heavy metal pedal! This will last a lifetime! Worth every penny over the cheap plastic models! So happy this works for my needs! With variable speed dremels you must turn the speed control all the way up and then you just control the speed w pedal so u won't push the dremel to hard and burn the motor out. You won't be disappointed with this because you're buying right the first time.

I needed a better variable foot pedal for a rotary tool. The cheap plastic one that came with my tool was way too flimsy and hard to ramp up and down speed in a precision manner. This works perfectly and is easy to control the exact speed as needed.

It just humms till it takes off full speed. No variable speed at all. Bought it for a bead roller!

The differen e between this one and the plastic one is incomparable... truly. The amount if control youget with it is literally unbeatable. I don't know what's written by anyone else, but that's the reality. If I could give it 6* I would.

Very good controller and has nice speed control. its heavy so it will not move around like the plastic ones I'm very happy I bought it.
