This book stand is better quality than I expected! It's made from solid, well made, wood components, has a stable, metal front bar to support book, & keep pages flat, & it is very easy to adjust to accommodate various book thicknesses. It is also very smoothly & nicely finished, & though a substantial size, it is not overwhelmingly so, & is attractive in appearance. I highly recommend for serious readers & cooks!

The look and functionality of the recipe book holder are solid. You can buy an expensive one at Target, or you can get this one that does the same thing. Plus, the color looks great if you are going for a rustic feel in the kitchen.

It has a permanent spot on my counter next to my stove top. I love that it is adjustable. It can hold a single sheet or a thick book securely. The only concern I have is that the wood is unfinished and could easily be stained with cooking oil, etc. Maybe I'll polyurethane it before I have an issue.

I received this as a gift, and I love it. I really like that I can move the base to fit books of several sizes. It keeps the book open so I don't have to use food-covered hands to reopen to read a recipe. Plus, I think it's really attractive and don't feel the need to put it away after use.

The wood is beautiful, it's sturdy and holds a wide range of cookbook sizes. I don't have a lot of counter space, so I slide the base out, and put the wire book holder over the handle so I can hang it! Works great.

For the life of me I cannot figure out the positive reviews. In pulling the product out of the box I was surprised at how cheap and light it seemed to be. The wood feels rough and like it has no been sanded at all. It comes in 3 pieces. There are two pieces of wood that make up the stand and the metal piece that is intended to slide into the holes. We were unable to slide the metal piece in because the holes were drilled too close together. We thought maybe it was meant to be pushed in snug but could hear the wood begin to crack as we pushed it in. As we we packaging it back up to return, my wife noticed a huge crack in the other wood piece that makes up the back. Overall this product is cheaply made and for that reason we will be returning it and purchasing something else. Charging $30 for this is a joke.

I use this for my tablet while I’m cooking so I can see my recipes on Pinterest. I only gave it 4 stars because the black handle was almost impossible to push down into the wood. After a few curse words and a good thump, I finally got it to stay in place. It is lightweight but very sturdy and I love how you can reposition it for a larger cook book if needed
