This little guy has saved my hands. The pruner is very sharp, easy to use, and gets the job done. Because it works with a Dewalt 20V battery the charge lasts a very long time. The two big issues I have with this product is the cost and the fact that it does not come with a battery so you will need to have or purchase your own.My review scale explained:â Don't do it. These pruning shears have already made my life easier. The shears require a DeWalt 20-volt battery and once connected, you are ready to prune. An instruction manual, additional blade, and accessories for ongoing maintenance are included in the package. The use of the included items is explained in the manual, which is easy to read and understand.After getting the battery installed and turning the shears on, I began with some basic trimming of a palm tree in my yard. The fronds of these palms are terrible to deal with using the manual shears I have been using. This electric set of pruning shears makes this job a breeze. The cutting blade on these shears is short, so cutting some of the larger fronds required multiple cuts, but this was still much easier than cutting them manually. In all honesty, I cannot share how much easier these electric shears make the job of cutting palm fronds up for the grass waste bin versus manual cutting - these are absolutely great. In the photo I actually cut up about 15 fronds from one of the smaller palms and I was able to do it in just a few minutes. Although I have other bushes and small trees that I will use these shears on, the palm fronds are the worst of what I have to deal with in terms of cutting. The cutting blade didn’t experience any issue with cutting the fronds, no matter how large it was, the pruning shears performed well.The compact size of these shears, their ease of use with one hand, and the fact that it uses a widely available lithium ion battery makes this set of shears easy to keep and use. The maintenance is easy and the instruction manual and accessories make keeping the unit in good working order accessible. I ABSOLUTELY will continue using these for maintaining my palms and for my other pruning needs, these are great, there is no other way to relate that fact.

This is my first time using an electric pruner, and now I’m spoiled. We’ve got trees and bushes in every area of our yard so I have to do a lot of pruning. I have several hand-grip pruning scissors, and am very familiar with their cutting limits. This simple, easy to use tool blows everyone of them out of the water. It cuts much bigger branches with ease. Its sharp, and works flawlessly with my DeWalt batteries. I’m not sure if anyone needs it, but it even has a LED light if you want to cut branches in the dark. I’m am thrilled to have it. It will get a lot of use. Actually, it really is a great and useful tool, and I don’t think anyone would regret having it in their arsenal.Overall – A useful tool with excellent quality at a reasonable price.

I never knew I like pruning trees and bushes so much until I got these electric shears. Very fun and quick to use. Amazingly powerful, so watch those fingers. I was really surprised that they indeed can cut through 1.5" branches without any issues (sometimes 2nd or 3rd cut required).Interface is a little wonky as there's only 1 button - the trigger. The whole interface is just done by pressing it: long press to turn on/off. Double click to get started after you turn it on.The manual could be a little more clear, but that's my only minor complaint. Does not come with a battery, so you have to use your own.

I guess this is my mistake a little, I did not notice that this tool does NOT come with the battery. That seems a bit misleading in my opinion... I was excited to try these out but now I have to locate a battery for them. We have a Milwaukee drill but the batter is just not quite compatible. If I had known, I honestly might not have even bought a "knockoff" brand tool. If you have to have a dewalt battery, just buy dewalt tools. That way there's no worry about different battery types, etc.
