This is a great add on item if you are a DeWalt 20V tool owner. compliments the Dewalt DCPR320B for smaller pruning jobs. Works well so far after several weeks of long use.

The actual tool is awesome! I used it the first day to cut several sizes of fallen branches and it worked effortlessly. It is light weight even with the battery and my arm didn't tire from using it.My ONLY complaint is with the usual manual. I don't know why it is so hard for these companies to find someone to translate into English! The manual consists of 7 pages of safety warnings; 2 pages of very bad/blurry/small diagrams; and 1 paragraph on how to actually use the tool. The tool comes with a small bottle of what I assume to be oil. But no where in the manual does it say where to oil the tool. Also, the manual explains that the tool's jaw opens to two different widths with no explanation of how to adjust the width. Even the diagram on changing the blades is so small and blurry that it is useless. If you're looking for a tool to help maintain your trees, shrubs and other landscaping; this is a great little tool--especially if you like the challenge of trying to figure out how to adjust and maintain it.

Everything is good with this tool, almost complete set. Only thing is that if the tools you already have are not DeWalt then don't get it, it doesn't come with the battery so it's assumed you have the battery already for it. Otherwise this is a great tool, and very sturdy.

The Cordless Electric Pruning Shears for DeWalt 20V Battery is a pretty handy little tool. I was apprehensive about it at first, being an electric pruning shear able to remove digits easily. It's operation is simple: press the button on the front, it beeps, pull the trigger twice, and it beeps to let you know it's ready. It has a counter for each time you press the button. I suppose that could be helpful in a business cutting flowers or something, not sure of any other use for it. it also has a battery meter in the display. counter resets when device is turned off.description claims 2,6000 rpm brushless motor. unsure what the 2 indicates. There is only one motor, so maybe it means 6000 rpm is gear reduced to 2 rpm? not clear.description claims 600 watts, device label says 480 watts. I was able to test its no load amp draw at 3.5 amps. unable to test it under load, but if the label is to be believed it would be 22amps with a full battery charge.came in a black plastic case, with a spare blade, some tools, a sharpening stone and oil.feels sturdy in the hand, and I was able to cut through 1" green mesquite with no problem. Where this tool really shines is for cutting down branches to fit in a trash bag. saves the hands from using manual hand shears, or having to stand back when using full size shears. Very nice. Not too bad for 4 Jackson's and a Hamilton.Manual says contact information for support is on the next page, only a parts diagram is on that page.
