Upon receiving this item, read all the instructions. Charge the batteries. and familiarize yourself to the tool. This tool is my first choice for pruning the winter dead branches and spring clean up. It took several moments to figure out how to activate cutters especially when they automatically shut off for a non usage. The enclosed goggles are not the best quality, but eye precaution is always good. I will say that this cutter made my spring clean up so much easier. It handled branches and limbs with very little effort. I was able to clean up my yard in half the time in the past years. Made it easier on the arthritic hands as well as not having to handle an oversized and heavy piece of equipment.. The bright color of the cutter made it easy to locate when I set it aside. I love having replacement blades available. The batteries have kept their charge. I have used this cutter for two days in a row for three hours and I have yet had to charge the first battery. It is definitely a time saver.

The two batteries allow for hours of effortless pruning.It cuts with ease through thick branches including 1" dead wood.Much easier to position and cut than using a pole pruner or lopper.An easy trigger pull makes the cut.The sharp blades cut cleanly.

I love them. They do everything they say they do. Only thing is to be aware of is oil then every time you use them and tight the gear bolts also, because they will come loose if not checked. Otherwise they are great except that and I would have given them a 5 stare rating. Great tool

The case is very nice and will hold up to a lot of wear. The shears work really well. Anyone will able to cut medium size branches just fine with no issues.

This is a heavy duty pruner. It comes in a large carrying case that holds everything needed for this set such as batteries and charger.

Returned for refund as the blade mechanism continously jammed. Not sure if it's a poor design or a one off defect. Purchased a different brand.

This is an incredible tool to have if you do lots of pruning and cutting of branches from 1 1/2 inches in diameter or less.I have many trees and bushes that require maintenance several times per year and it can put lots of stress on my hands using manual sheers for extended periods. I have strong hands, but these electric sheers change everything. I have various trees including maple, cherry, ash, and popular and these shears will cut through anything that can fit inside the jaws with easy. I would prefer that the blades were longer, but they work well. The blades are incredibly strong and sharp so you need to be extremely careful so you don't loose a finger before you realize what happened.The sheers are easy to use and they hold up very well with extended rough use on hard wood. I have used the sheers extensively and have been happy with the battery life. I have dropped them many time and have seen no damage to the housing or electronics.Over all, the sheers are very nice and they come in a plastic storage case with all the items needed to properly operate the machine. The safety glasses are a waste of materials as the are cheap and come completely flattened making them useless. Spend a few dollars and get a quality set of safety glasses.I am extremely happy with the sheers as they are a great tool to save time and effort. They have performed well in a tough environment and I expect many years of use to come.

I had a longer review written out, but had trouble submitting it. So I'll exercise brevity and highlight the main points.The pruners feel a bit cheap in the hand for the price you pay. The cost is comparable to name brand cordless tools but the hand feel is lacking.That said, the cutting mechanism seems to work well so long as you don't over load it. It works well on appropriately sized limbs and dry vines and canes which can be harder to cut by hand.The battery holds a fair amount of charge and hasn't lost capacity over the few cycles I've put them through.It doesn't seem like the battery connectors are the same as Dewalt or other major brands, so I'm a little concerned about where to get compatable batteries down the road. I'll take a battery apart and see what might be required to repair them if needed.The whole set fits in the included case which is great, especially in the black hole that is my shop's approach to loose items being set down on any surface here.Over all, works fairly well, but should be a little better constructed.
