I've been working on some small craft projects, and this heat gun has been a major upgrade from my old one. The fact that it's cordless and uses my Dewalt batteries is super convenient—I can take it anywhere without needing an outlet. The temperature control is easy to adjust, and it heats up quickly; I've used it for shrink wrapping and some soldering, and it works great for both. The LED light is also a nice touch, making it easier to see what I'm doing, especially in tight spaces. The included nozzles and scraper are useful, too; I'm pretty happy with it 👗it saves me a lot of time and frustration; and has become a great tool for my projects.

This thing is anaemic using it with middle sized battery the life is OK but my corded one had 1200WMy daughters hair dryer has 1000W and this toy only has 300W.Its not enough, even the Manufacturer thinks its not enough otherwise they would not exaggerate the Wattage.

I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient this cordless heat gun is! It heats up incredibly fast, reaching full temperature in just a few seconds. Very nice heatgun. It works well with my dewalt 20v batteries and it puts out a good amount of heat for being a battery powered heatgun.

Convenience of cordless yet powerful enough to satisfy most all of your heat gun needs. The coil right inside of the nozzle glow red/white hot in only a few seconds. The trigger has a safety feature built into it so there are no accidental squeezings. It takes only a few moments to figure it out, but once done, you can get readily instant results from it.I really like my cordless tools. This one takes DeWalt compatible batteries. (Battery not included). It comes with some different nozzles depending on whether you want to splay out the heat, or target it towards the center etc. I think it is fine to use without the nozzle for a quick and ready tool. Works well, and I highly recommend it.
