My husband loves this. He bought several to give as gifts. This is cordless and replaces the corded glue guns we have. Very lightweight. Works as needed. Recommend

This is a nice portable hot glue gun that doesn't tie you to an electrical outlet; just add a DeWalt battery and you're off to the races. The nozzle is wide enough to get plenty of glue onto the materials of your choice. The plastic body is lightweight but seems sturdy enough. The trigger is long enough for two or even 3 fingers to grip, but as others have noted, take care to ensure the glue is flowing freely before giving that trigger a squeeze. The indicator light turns green when the glue gun has reached its working temperature, which happens in under 2 minutes. My experience has been that it's best to give it another 15-20 seconds, then slowly squeeze the trigger. If the glue flows readily you're in business. If not, just give it another 10-15 seconds then get gluing!

I bought this for my wife to use in her shop to be cord free and it uses my dewalt 20v batteries. Works good for her, but was expecting it to use full size glue sticks and not the mini sticks that it requires. It came with some mini glue sticks so we were able to test it out. Works good, heats quickly, just expected it to use full size glue sticks.

Really satisfied with how nicely it operates. Trigger is so smooth and easy to use. Gets to temp quickly and uses minimal glue, making each stick last

I didn't even know cordless glue guns were a thing, and now that I do, I'm gluing down everything I can find.I teach, and my walls are prison grade cinderblocks in which only hot glue will stick anything to the wall. Walking back and forth to the hot glue gun to hang things to the walls takes forever. Now it's ts a breeze with my cordless glue gun.The Dewalt battery is a little tight, but a good shove gets it on there just fine. Glue gun drips a little, but I think it's more the poor quality of the glue stick than the gun itself. This bad boy get HOT! Battery lasted about 1.5 hours before dying so have a spare on hand if you need it to last while.10/10 reccomend for easy hanging projects.

I have been wanting a battery powered hot glue gun for crafts and even went through trouble of purchasing a more expensive one that came with its own battery. Unfortunately, that battery did not last very long and company did not sell replacement batteries to keep as extras. This one allows me to use the battery of existing Dewalt power tools and works great. Last longer than model I had previously used. One of my new favorite craft tools.

The body is twisted versus the battery which is a little annoying. Wouldn’t be so annoying if it were twisted in favor of a right hand but it isn’t. Tried to take it apart to correct but it’s sonic plastic welded and can’t be fixed without cutting and re-welding plastic. The kickstand to keep the hot tip off the table is useless because it’s an adapted glue gun from a wired version allowing it to burn the surface its resting on. Just stand it on the battery and it’s fine but it’s still dumb.

Very misleading that it's a true Dewalt. However, works great and fits my husband's Dewalt batteries.
