At first buying a similar soldering iron to this one (the difference being a LED screen for battery and variable voltage indicator) I immediately returned it. My advice is do not get one with a LED or variable voltage. I then bought this one based on it has a single button for all its interface. I couldn't be more happy with this one. The instructions are real to the device, a competitor had instructions but their box contained more info and both were inacurate for what it did when you press around, it didn't work well at all. It kept shutting off in like three seconds after a ten second count down to heat, and only heat during the second count down forcing you to repeat unpress and press it again precisely at the right time or it shuts off. I choose this one after the prior one because of its lack of visible features, just one button total, semes it couldn't go wrong. Nor did it, this soldering is awesome.

I am a tinkerer and this helps me to do jobs that would otherwise be very inconvenient being tethered to a power cord. I have not had the chance to use this much, but it does melt solder. It heats up quickly and cools quickly. It only comes with one tip but others can be purchased on Amazon that LOOK to be the same 510 thread. I cannot verify this 100%.One thing that I am a bit confused by is the fact that the tip does not tin. The solder just doesn't stick to it at all.

The thing didn't work. It would not take a charge, it didnt work with known good cables either.
Nice day

Works horrible. Extremely hard to get a good solder point with this dam near impossible.

This convenient kit is built around a 'vape battery' power supply. Combine a resistive tip with that lithium-supplied current, and you have a go-anywhere soldering iron. This iron is intended for work on remote or confined solder joints. It should be the last resort for soldering, but it will join small wires and semiconductors if nothing else will reach. This will hit peak temperature for a short time after a full charge. After about the first 30 seconds, the temp will drop, though it might still be usable for a little longer. It's simply due to the small size. Larger capacity, higher current batteries are available in proportionately larger sizes. On the other hand I don't think a smaller battery would have any use.
How's the missing parts on my order?
