I bought a replacement interior door and needed a router to install the latch and hinges. The cordless router I wanted was closer to $150-$200 AND did not come with a battery, so the total cost would have been much higher.Since I really only needed to install the one door, I found this router AND IT WAS GREAT !!!Definitely a great deal, although it has a cord, it arrives with everything you need to get to work right away! It has all the same adjustments as the other higher priced handheld cordless routers. I highly recommend this item!!

Nice little router that works with my dewalt 20v batteries. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it does not have a fine tune depth adjuster like my corded router does. I would definitely recommend to someone who needs a router occasionally like I do. The batteries lasted much longer than I expected. I have been using this with a 1/8" round over bit just to take the edges off of 1x casings and base moldings.

Worked great with my 20v DeWalt batteries, though it tends to jump depending on the router bit you use. Definitely need to install the guide for added stability.

For light edge treatments this is pretty simple and easy to use. Very lightweight and even a little scary with the potential for self injury.
