I use it for drinking beverages, which could be construed as alchemical experiments. I wanted a half litre Pyrex because most craft beverages are usually 500ml cans or bottles so I can fit the whole thing easily. It's large base and narrow top lends itself well to fending off the attack of a dogs excited tail. I will end up using it for yeast starters during homebrew sessions, but for now it makes a fine beer/mead glass.

Good flask for the money. I needed a measuring cup that could hold up to boiling liquid, and decided on this little guy as a throwback to my days in the lab.
