Purchased this to put around a young tree in my parents yard. Deer were rubbing the bark off the tree at the base with their antlers. This worked well to protect the trunk and prevent the deer from rubbing the bark off. Only issue is it is very hard to pull open to wrap around what ever you are applying it too. Very stiff plastic.

These are relatively simple to install, and the trees I purchased in the spring have survived the summer without all the bark being rubbed off by the deer that infest my yard.I wish I bought these last year before the deer destroyed the previous trees.

Mine were only 15 inches tall. I know that is only 3/4-inch shorter than what is listed, but just FYI
