This banjo is good for beginners I believe. This was delivered late and had some damage but it was no fault of the sellers and they tried to fix the problem therefore I gave 5 stars.

When the seller learned about our issue with the 5th tuner, they resolved the issue quickly. My daughter really enjoys the banjo and plays all the time now.

I decided to buy this banjo based on the 100% 5 star positive reviews it had. Later on I went to check the seller and was a bit concerned that they sell mostly toys and kid's stuff. My concern turned to be accurate. When I received my banjo it was unplayable, but after a few tweaks it turned out o be a nice beginner's banjo.

This banjo came in pieces. The 5th string tuner was not attached to the neck, the string had been used before because it was twisted, the neck was loose and twisted, the resonator had scratches where it was removed and then reattached. Returning was a pain in the butt. Haven't received my refund as yet (only 5 days tho). Total waste of time and effort.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas because he said he always wanted to learn to play. It came packaged nice. He played for a few days & now it looks pretty sitting in the stand he bought for it. Great for beginners as long as they use it.

I purchased this banjo for my husband who is just starting out. He is pleased with the sound quality and that it came with everything he needed to get started. The seller was quick to resolve our initial problem with scuff marks to the instrument.
