These have a pilot that is 1/8 inch in diameter and 1 inch long. The shaft is 1/4 inch diameter. There is about 3/4 inch of threaded taper between the pilot and the shaft. These are excellent for mounting cartridge rolls that are around 1.5 inches long and have a 1/8 in pilot hole. You can use these with 1 inch long rolls, but the pilot will stick out beyond the roll. Workman quality tool.

Good product but not what i needed. I just wanted mandrels that cone with the smallest part being the tip.
