I’m making advent calendars and I needed this. Seem like a good value. Medium heat wouldn’t iron on material and high heat kept wanting to stick and melt the non-woven. I put my iron on steam and everything worked fine.

Perfect for embroidery items for children. Covers the embroidery on the back so it’s soft to the touch and not scratchy

The description says the 8"x8" sheets work for 4x4 and 6x6 hoops but it was a too small for my Pfaff 5x5 hoop. I still used it, the bottom inch or so of the hoop just didn't have any stabilizer so I kept my design towards the top. Maybe some other brands have a 6x6 hoop this works with but if you have a Pfaff it will only fully cover 4x4 or smaller.Aside from the size not actually being ideal for my machine the stabilizer itself is very nice. It's soft and strong and easy to trim. I used some spray on temporary adhesive to attach the stabilizer to my fabric and decided to try stitching a fairly dense design on a stretch vinyl, just to really push the limits. It worked better than I expected with no tearing, very little puckering, and the back stayed pretty clean. I had some thread loops on the front of the design but I think my needle was starting to dull so I don't think that's the stabilizer's fault. There was a little pulling since the bottom edge of the stabilizer was loose but if you have a different brand or smaller hoop you should be fine. It gives a little more structure to the fabric but it's still able to fold and drape so this is good for light to medium weight drapey fabrics. If you have a very lightweight drapey fabric like a silk or faux silk charmeuse you'll want something thinner, this is too heavy for that unless it's a very dense design and you trim the stabilizer very closer to the stitching.Overall I really like it but it probably won't be my go to unless I buy a smaller hoop. Next time I'll actually measure my hoop instead of relying on the item description.
