Replaced old doorbell chime. Works with integrated ring doorbell. Easy install with minor drywall repair. Low profile. We had cover sprayed to match wall paint. Hopefully it lasts a while.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Flush with the wall, able to paint the same color so that it blends with the wall. Chime is clear and loud. Would buy again.

Overall I really like the chime. I wanted something flush with the wall and this is perfect.My only complaints are that the chime piston looked used, the tip of it was already smashed flat. I replaced it with the one from my old unit, which still looked new.Also, the screws supplied to mount the face plate did not fit the holes in the metal box. Again, I had replacements handy from one of the many other projects I’ve started on this old house.But recessed chimes are hard to find and overall the product looks and feels very sturdy.It works perfectly now that it’s installed.

Luckily, our old doorbell chime fit in the new recessed housing of the chime box i purchased from Amazon. The new purchase chime has only one tone. We prefer a two-tone bell. I can’t return the item because we did use the housing. The cover looks so much better on the hall wall than did the original bell box.

Takes up minimal wall space. Disappears on the wall. Chime is a basic/classic pitch, and loud enough to hear on all three floors without being too loud.

I expected this to be very low profile. It is not. I ended up returning it and going for a smaller standard doorbell.

Looks different than the photo, easy to install with typical handyman tools. Mine did come broken, the prongs for the bottom chime were snapped clean off and it rattled around during shipping. No damage to the box. Little super glue and we were back in business just annoying for a pricey product.
