This item is cheap and easy to write. The chalks provided by our university are hard to write and students can not read those words and that is why I bought myself. These chalks work perfectly. Although same as other comments, one or two chalks split. However, I personally prefer short one and the cut surface is easier to use, so I don’t much care about it.

Works good enough, is quite easy to erase. The color is obviously white. But you see, how bad can chalks be? I won’t expect any better and any worse. It’s just ordinary chalk.
