I took in a chihuahua known to bite and had to get a muzzle for vet appointments. I tried an open ended one, but she has that off in seconds, it's useless. This, though? Absolutely perfect. It was an exact fit straight out of the box. It's so easy to put on and clip and she cannot get it off no matter how she claws at it or shakes her head. I honestly hate seeing a dog muzzled, but, unfortunately, it is sometimes required. Even with this muzzle on she tried to bite the vet and vet assistant on her first visit. The bills from that would have bankrupt me. I'm lucky the hospital bill for my first bite from her was only a few hundred dollars. This muzzle is a must when I have her outside where she could bite someone else and I'm ordering 2 more so I can keep 1 in my purse and 1 with each of her leashes at the doors to home so that I'll hopefully remember to put the muzzle on before we leave.

I had just rec'd the muzzle for my corgi/min Pincher. I choose to go with a size Small upon reviewing the company's video, advertisement, and their recommendations for my puppy's mixed breed. Unfortunately, the size Small was too big, so I have to return it. The muzzle is made out of a softer/bendable nylon mesh, not stiff at all, the holes allow for air to flow throughout all angles, and it has a strap that also goes in between the eyes and over head with a clip to secure it. They have 2 sizes for their Extra Small and one size for their Small which makes it a little more difficult to choose for my pup.

Mesh is very flexible but does not hold up to extended use. We have a puppy that is experiencing pica so we thought this light mask would prevent ingestion while briefly unattended. He's a smart little bugger so he would flex it and carry stones, which cut the mesh very quickly. Probably not the imagined use case. However if a sharp stone would break the mesh then I'm not sure that's a good thing.

We have a 15-lb dog that loves acorns so must find a way to protect him. While this muzzle is made well and seems quite durable, I have an issue with how it fits a smaller dog. I definitely ordered the right size; however, the strap that runs along the nose is way too long and the adjustment capability is such that you can't adjust it as tight as it needs to be. Even if I could adjust that strap to its minimum, the basket part of the muzzle comes up too high and hits our dog right below his eyes. It's really too bad they didn't shorten the top part of the muzzle to make it more comfortable for smaller dogs. When I contacted the company about the fact the strap had limited adjustment because of the way it's sewn, they just told me to make it smaller -- that no one else complained (which I don't believe). Didn't send it back as I'm going to try and alter it a bit ... which is probably impossible. (Note: Did find another muzzle that fits beautifully so will order another one of those for our other dog.)

I ordered a different muzzle a bit back because my dog eats things on walks and I can’t get them out before she eats them, the one I got had lots of pant room but didn’t fit well so I returned it and was skeptical of if any muzzle would fit well after that but I got this one and it fits great! It doesn’t have a whole lot of pant room but it isn’t super restricting so I don’t find it that concerning I just probably won’t use it on hot days. I haven’t had it for very long but so far training with it is going well and I love that it is lightweight and not bulky like those metal ones. Should do the job I got it for!

This is great for moderate use. We use this the clip our dogs nails because she gets nervous and tries to bite. It’s great but does come loose so we have to watch it.
