The Pottery Ribs are working as expected. They are soft and easy to use. I use them for shaping during wheel throwing and for cleaning the surface at the end of throwing. They are easy to hold and comfortable in my hands, and the size is just right for me. I have ribs in various sizes, and these make great additions to my toolbox. They are made from silicone, and when they dry, they tend to collect dust, but it’s easy to wash off.

This actually are very nice ribs for certain tasks. In the picture above, they are the two on top, you can see there are thicker than typical rib, that also makes them very comfortable to hold. They are are soft and flexible vs. stiffer so I think better suited for shaping softer clay than trimming - which probably isn't a silicone rib's best use anyway. I'd just note there is a flat side on both but no sharp edge corner, that's not a ding, just pointing it out.
