This cutter is very convenient to carry, as it 176 mm long, with a 36 mm blade. It comes in a 60 by 90 mm case. Its sheath can be mounted on a harness rig or on a BCD. It comes with Velcro attached to the strap of the blade, in addition to a case with Velcro that can be attached to harnesses and belts. The Line Cutter is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in Taiwan. Cressi has been an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946.

I literally just bought the same cutter on Amazon (needed two for cave class) for literally half the cost! I wish I found it sooner so I could return this cutter. In fairness the Cressi does have a much better sheath

The design of this product is great. Fingers are fairly well protected (would have to be trying hard to get a finger in there, but maybe a glove or hose could). It has a nice BCD loop method and loop to add link to D ring. Has a removal blade for cleaning, etc. Seems like good strong plastic and fabric.HOWEVER, after a single trip use (even with proper cleaning afterward) I started to see rust spots. Salt water is hard on metal, but I would have expected more from Cressi. I returned it due to this issue. Maybe I just got a bad one, who knows.

Producto muy recomendable para quien busque una herramienta de este estilo. Denota calidad en sus materiales, aparentando ser resistente y duradero. La funda también da buenas sensaciones. Muy compacta, no molesta en el cinturón del equipo, sujeta muy bien la herramienta de corte y permite un buen acceso a ésta. Para quien busque algo menos aparatoso que un cuchillo de buceo, o un complemento a éste, para realizar cortes limpios ante posibles redes sumergidas, etc., creo que se trata de una buena compra.

Das Cressi Tool habe ich angeschafft, um auf Tour mit dem Stand Up Paddel Board auf Flüssen bei Bedarf Angelschnüre damit zu kappen. Damit meine ich natürlich nicht die Angler bei der Ausübung ihres Fischzuges zu nerven, sondern, und das kommt tatsächlich häufiger vor, Angelschnüre, die von Bäumen herunterhängen und zum Teil noch mit Haken versehen sind, abzutrennen. Das Cressi Tool ist sehr unauffällig und gehört zu der Kategorie der Tools, die selten zum Einsatz kommen, aber wenn, unbedingt benötigt werden. Bemerkt werden sollte noch, dass das Cressi Tool solide verarbeitet ist und beim richtigen Umgang auch keine Verletzungsgefahr besteht. Volle Empfehlung!
