This is perhaps my favourite purchase on amazon. As I have tendonitis in my hamstring, particularly on my sit bone, this seat pad alleviates a lot of the pain I feel while rowing and erging. It is not overly big which I like, but makes a lot of difference. It is super sturdy and having used it for half a season still has no wear and tear which is great! Definitely recommend if you have problems sitting in a boat or rowing machine, or want to sit on something with a bit more cushion. It also doesn’t move while sitting on it which is again another plus!

Really good product. Bare wooden seats in boats can be painful when you have to sit for longer than 60mins and these pads are certainly helpful. has grips in the bottom which keeps it in place and the cushion size and thickness is just right- not too thick or thin. Definitely recommend them to rowers

Works great, sharp looking and best cost solution for rowers seat. My daughter's time has improved over 20% since using this seat pad. Consistent feel and helps build consistent muscle memory in different boats.

the rowers loved the pad. it is the correct width; too thick a pad will change stroke geometry. The material reminds me more of dense sorbo-thane material than "memory" foam. It fits well on a Concept 2 erg.

Doesn't have apparatus to attach ro attach seat to a real rowing scull not just a machine.

I'm NOT an avid rower and I'm very much a beginner, but I find this little pad makes the experience a little better. I tried some pads not designed for rowers and I felt like I was working so hard to keep my seat stable that I couldn't focus on my overall stroke form.This pad is rather thin, and I was skeptical that it would actually cushion the bony spots. I felt a noticeable increase in comfort and, thanks to silicone stripes on both sides of the pad, I could focus on form instead of not falling off. FWIW, I have a Marcy rower, not a Concept 2.

Add much needed comfort to the hard canoe seats. No sliding. Very low profile.Strong smell out of the package so air them out first if that sort of thing bugs you.
