Your cart is empty. This training version of Bluestar luminol is excellent for schools, demonstrations, and hunters. It works exactly like our most expensive luminol with one exception. Training Bluestar destroys DNA, unlike regular Bluestar luminol.
You get four sets of tablets, enough to make 16 oz of luminol. Each set of tablets makes 4 oz of luminol reagent.
BLUESTAR glows bright (the glow does not require total darkness to be visible) and lasts hours after mixing. Bluestar Training is a new reagent whose purpose is to reveal bloodstains that have been washed out, wiped off or which are invisible to the naked eye.
This product is intended for crime investigators. Based upon chemiluminescence, its unique formula qualifies it as the most effective blood revealer available on the market, for crime scene as well as forensic lab use.
Before use, Bluestar Training has a very long shelf-life and does not necessitate any special storage condition. Once mixed, Bluestar Training is stable and will work for hours, or even several days.
Bluestar Training is not toxic, thanks to the absence of Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate. Easily recycled. No residues left after drying.
Directions: To prepare the working solution, you will need to dissolve a pair of tablets (white + beige) in 125 ml (4 oz) of sterile water in a bottle equipped with a fine mist atomizer.
Note: Caustic when mixed. It should be handled by adults using protective respiratory and eye gear. Protective gear not included.

When we found my cat shot up and bloodied in the yard, we didn't know what to do. The police were useless, as was the humane society. That is when I thought of tracking the blood trail to see if it led back to someone.This worked amazingly well, and was the least expensive way to track blood.The trail was bright and spotted fairly easily even on bright nights, we even bought more and tried again a week or so later and could still find blood. The only downside is it doesn't make all that much liquid, at least in terms of what we needed to search my neighborhood. It is easy to make though since it comes in tablet form that you just add to water.Sadly the trail led to behind a school yard and ended in an open area, so there will be no justice for my kitty, but I was surprised how well this worked. I don't know how anyone gets away with murder in these crazy science filled times.

As an avid deer hunter who lost a wounded deer for the first time, I felt awful. I made a clean shot but the rain washed away my blood trail and I never found it. That sickened me, and I decided to try this product to help me find a latent blood trail if the situation ever arose.The next time I shot a deer I used this for fun, so that I could get used to it for when I really needed it. I mixed it in a spray bottle and set off to trail the deer.At first I thought it was great as it lit up a path through the woods. However, after a while I realized I was following a big trail of nothing. All kinds of things light up with this: urine, plant residue, etc. Basically everything the woods is full of. You can happily follow a trail for 50 yards without realizing it’s just lighting up whatever’s In front of you.Great idea. Waste of time and money. Maybe In an open field it would work better, but it did not help me at all in the woods. In fact, it actively led me astray.Just learn to track deer better

This luminol kit worked perfectly for my application. I found it to be very easy to use, even for those of us that are not a scientist. I cannot speak to how long the kit will "hold", but again, it worked for me.
