These cats are literally the cutest things I’ve ever seen they are so adorable and the videos were very easy to follow as a beginner and they were very thorough/slow and I love how there are 4 different cats you can make. I would definitely recommend especially for a gift this would make a perfect gift.

i only rated it 4 stars because honestly MAGIC CIRCLES ARE NOT EASY.so it being a beginner set is true in the sense of if youre perfectly okay with redoing the magic circle 50 times. redoing rows because you dont know how to count. dont go into this thinking itll be one try & done.now, once youve mastered the magic circle, you can do anything crochet !! all hobbies have a learning curve. now this kit honestly is affordable for the price. it includes everything you need for this. the yarn does not split as bad but its also not like top quality yarn. the bag holds everything so you can keep everything in one place.the design is so cute !! i actually got this as a practice for before i do a larger axolotli do recommend if youre truly wanting a non stressful easy project start with a blanket and a bigger hook, once you know the basics of crochets then this kit will be a breeze once youve mastered the magic circle.now if you go into this knowing there will be struggles and redos then yes of course get this ! this is a really fun kit !!

The kit has everything in it that would be needed for someone just starting. However, it’s not pictured step by step instructions. You really need to know the name of the stitches and what they are before you can ever get started so I can’t actually recommend this for someone as a beginner project.

I wish I could say a lot of positives about this product. It looks cute and I loooove cats... unfortunately I never received it.Such a shame, as I would have loved to crochet little kitties and strengthen my reputation as a cat lady.

Plenty of yarn provided, video available when stuck, finally got me to finish a project. Not sure about kiddos (other reviews say it’s fine) but easy enough for adults.

I first got this when I hadn’t learned crochet yet and was not used to this type of yarn. Me personally, it’s not my favorite type of yarn to use when making plushies, but the kit came with everything advertised. And if I were to try this product again I probably would have an easier time doing it.
