I added 3" of height on my Brooklyn Kayak PK13 kayak. I already had a 250cm Paddle but was finding the length of the paddle was not long enough. There isn't much else out there longer than a 250cm paddle and the few slightly longer ones I found were approaching $200. For $35 bucks I added 2 feet of length of the paddle and it was effortless to install and I can take it out in 10 seconds if I switch over to my other 10 foot kayak.

Seller charges a restocking fee for returns. That’s not stated on the ad. Item is listed as universal fit yet is to small for my kayak paddle. If i’m wrong i’ll update rating as the item feels good but it’s definitely NOT a universal fit!

I have 3 kayak paddles, all sized at 230cm which is perfect for my kayaks but I bought a solo canoe and needed a 260 cm paddle. These three paddles all had different coupling details an none were the brand that this was made for. Fortunately the diameters matched my Carlisle Expedition paddle. I had to drill two holes and cut it to length but the results are perfect.

It is a wonderful device & may be the only paddle extender made, BUT it doesn't fit all kayak paddles. I needed to drill two extra holes (one on my paddle and one on the extender to make it work for my needs. Without the extra holes, my paddle was nearly 254 cm (much too long). My other paddles are 230 cm. After drilling extra holes, the extended paddle is close to 230 cm. I recommend the manufacturer add more holes to make it a bit more adjustable.

Two extra feet on that paddle makes a huge difference! I have a bending branches aluminum paddle and had to use my belt sander to get a proper fit. So if you have a different brand be prepared to do stuff like that. I love it!

I’m 6’3†and my 8’ fixed paddle was way too small. So I bought a new paddle and this extension to give me 10’. Paddling is so much smoother and easier now.

This fits only one of the three standard kayak paddles that we use. Try to be sure of your shaft diameter unless you have a Kohls really close by.

The extension I received had no tag on it, but there was an empty plastic loop where a tag might 1ce have been. It fit on the female half of my paddle (though with a gap that did not result in a smooth transition) but not the male..it needed to be between 5-10 mm shorter. (see pic) My paddle is the Crooked Creek Tournament Angler Kayak Paddle, 9 foot. I sadly returned...NOTE: Purchased from seller: " CE Showroom " ...wondering if another seller might have the real deal? Please let me know if you do. Cheers.
