Bought this set of 8 vs 6 for a team building activity with a Board of Directors. They worked well, easy to put together and comes with a convenient carry case. This is a good set if you need more than 6 and a decent price.

Been looking for a set for a while. This croquet set has two more player than most at eight. 4 with short handles (for smaller adults and kids) and 4 with longer ones. For the money this is a great set. Balls are stated to be wood products with a plastic outer coating for protection. Works pretty well but balls can still take some dents if not hit properly. Mallets are wood and heads are solid a work well. Wickets are much better that most reviews lead me to believe. I actually bought an extra set of wickets based on the reviews. I returned them since the ones in this set were much better than the highly rated replacement set I found.All in all I am very happy with this purchase. This set is good, but not one that will last for a very long time. I am sure we will enjoy it for a few years, but I expect to need some replacements in a few years. Good set for the money for adults and children. We had grand kids as young as 6 up to adults in late 30s and retired seniors in their 60's all enjoyed the set and it held up just fine on the first use over the 4th of July gathering. Played many games and all is still intact.

If I were to rate this product solely on how much fun it is, it would be 5 stars. But unfortunately, it is very poorly made. After 1 game the balls we severely dented and after 2 games one ball was completely broken. The mallets are not very well sanded and there are a bunch of splinters. The set was a lot of fun, but just not well made

Wish I had a picture to show you but, not on my phone. From ages 3 up too 82 had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving while playing this game. Lots of laughs and smiles.

Was purchased as a gift. Went together easily and seemed really solid. With two size handles it was easy for the adults and children to play.

Took a chance and ordered this set with no reviews. The long handles are good for taller people and the shorter ones are good for myself and my teens (5’ - 5’7â€). They are solid wood and screwed in nicely to the mallet. The mallet does not have any protection on ends, it’s just the solid wood. The balls are lighter than I expected but seem durable. I remember playing as a kid so I guess they may have been heavier for me then. My kids have never played so naturally they wound up to swing...they are still in one piece! The wire pieces are vinyl coated and didn’t bend when I pushed into ground. Everything fit in bag when attached. Bag is kind of cheap but will work for awhile with care. I don’t feel it is as solid as my grandparents set but that was 70’s-80’s. It’s nice to have an 8 player set so everyone can play or have a choice of handle length. Overall and at first use, I am happy with set.

You have to be super careful not to cross thread the shaft and end together. The thread itself is just the wood and my kids managed to strip two bats in the first day. Otherwise it's a good set.

We use to play this game as kids in my parents backyard. Now as adults - we get to have our own set for our own backyard ! So many laughs and good times are had when this blue bag comes out ! The quality is nice and the height of the mallets are perfect for taller people. The balls have good weight to them and the pegs for the ground are sturdy.Super happy with purchase :)
