I liked that it takes much less room on the bus going to school and it's very sturdy and attractive and also light weight!. On the flip side of taking less room , it doesn't accommodate everything the larger one did but we have used the horn to put some things in.

It fits my Alto Sax very well and has more room than the soft sided case it replaced to store and carry assorted items like a neckstrap, extra reeds, and even extra mouthpieces. I would purchase this item again.

My daughter started playing the saxophone this year. The case that was provided by the store we are renting the saxophone from was damaged. We purchased this to make sure that her instrument was properly protected. It does exactly that and my daughter loves the look.

For this price, this case needed to be alot better. The internal part does not fit my alto sax snug.. There is room where the sax moves forward and back.. When it's closed, you can also feel it moving up and down because the top part of the case isn't form fitted correctly either. I didn't buy a case for my sax to be moving around inside like crazy.The outer shell is thinner than expected.. Seems like it is vaccuformed plastic to me but not sure. The brand logo plate had glue leaking from around the edges and was put on crooked. Seems like typical bad Chinese craftsmanship to me. I'm probably going to return this case.
