Tools like these aren't always needed, but makes the job so much easier.

On the V50 2.4L it only worked on one side. I ended up setting both seals with a old bearing race and a light hammer... just like every other car I work on. I didn't find it useful or valuable enough to keep at this price point. Could be 3D printed for pennies.

This part is plastic and it works fine. it uses the cam pulley bolt to pull the seal into place. On my 2005 Volvo XC 70 I really didn’t need it because the seals went into place so easily you could push them in with your two thumbs or borrow a seal setting tool from o’Reillys or AutoZone. It’s quite expensive for what it is.

Engineered properly and work as it should. So much easier then the socket method. Personally I have always used the proper tools for most of the jobs. I recommend this product because it worked properly.

This WILL NOT work on a volvo 850R on front camshaft seals. B5234T5....great concept.
