I have owned this pot for 11 years, and I really love it. It is a versatile size, can cook pasta, soup, veggies, matzo balls, you name it. It's easy to clean, and the non-stick finish has held up very well. It's not too heavy for my not-very-strong wrists, and the loop handle helps a lot. The shape is like a saucier, rounded and somewhat squat, which is good for almost everything except one recipe when I have to boil sugar and cream and allow it to foam up quite high. The glass lid has held up perfectly well also. I would definitely buy this pot again, and the price is right too.

Chili pot, saute pan, dutch oven, wok, saucier- a great multi-purpose pan.I've been using a small set of Cuisinart Chef's Classic Hard-Anodized cookware (66-7) for the past 3-4 years, and just added this pan. At I chose the 4 qt size, and wouldn't mind having the 3 qt too, but my kitchen is a small galley, and storage is limited. So far, I've prepared several one-dish meals, spaghetti sauce, scrambled eggs, beans/lentils, and used it to sear roasts on the stove and finish them in the oven. Excellent results every time. I've had no issues with the fit and finish of this pan. This cookware will simmer a potful nicely on very low heat- I use a gas stove. There is one caveat I like to point out with this line of cookware- I always hand wash mine, but when I took a piece of this cookware to a friends potluck, they ran it through their dishwasher afterwards. The pan came out heavily oxidized inside and out. I oiled it and after cooking with it, it was pretty much back to normal- it may have just been their brand of dishwasher soap, but I would avoid running these pans through a dishwasher. Other reviewers on Amazon have stated that they regularly run this cookware through a dishwasher, however, the Cuisinart users guide clearly states "Do not put in the dishwasher..." Your mileage may vary, but they clean up easily by hand.Measurements- 10" across the top, 7" across the bottom, 4" deep. The lid fits the skillet of the original set, and the two pans nest perfectly for storage. So buy yourself one.

I needed a pan that was quality, affordable, oven usable, easy to clean, the right weight and versatile. I've only used pan twice, to cook rice and make a delicious pork stir fry. The pan cooks food evenly and quickly, at a low flame, which is a big deal for me. In Mexico, gas can be a little costly. This pan equals less gas use, a money-saver. The pan shape is new to me, but it works. I live alone, have some chronic pain issues, and stores here don't carry anything frozen but veggies and pizza. No luxury of popping any of the great frozen foods sold in U.S., so I always cook enough for four people. I'm a good cook; never tire of eating same things two days in a row :-)....or I freeze for another day. I love making soups, but hate big soup pans. With this pan, I look forward to soup weather. Bottom line, (finally), if you need a good stir fry, soup, rice, sauce, or whatever pan, you can't go wrong with this buy.

Don't know why this size and general shape is so hard to find, it's great for soups, stews, pot roasts, boiling a batch of pasta, etc. It's also lightweight for it's size, and I don't find that the slightly thinner material affects cooking quality. The nonstick is good but not to the same standards as, say, Calphalon Unison Slide or ScanPan. Even though there's titanium strengthening the formula, it's still basically a coating, sprayed onto the surface of the aluminum near the end of the manufacturing process. I would caution anyone purchasing this kind of product to pay attention to the user's manual and apply medium to medium high heat only, even if you're boiling water. Just cover and it will come to a boil. Even though the aluminum and steel handles can withstand 500 degrees in the oven, high heat on a gas burner can reach far beyond that in a short time, and the nonstick will ultimately discolor, degrade, and begin to peel. That said, if you're relatively careful, this can be a great everyday cooking vessel.

I received this pan (3 qt size) about a week ago and I've used it every day since! It's just right for a small stir-fry and I've also used it for making soups and stews. At just a tad over 3" it's deep enough to deep fry small foods, and with its tempered glass lid, you can see easily when to turn or remove them. Its nonstick feature is great! I can "fry" without oil or butter and food slides right out. It has a rather long handle, which probably is designed to make it cool enough to lift without a hotpad, but I do keep the handle turned in so no one runs into it. BTW, its base is exactly the right size for my large burners. It can also go into the oven and is good for up to 500 degrees! If I had more room, I would get the 4-qt size, too. It's that good!Try it. You'll like it!

This pan is amazing! I didn't realize how non-stick my previous pans were until I used this one. Nothing sticks to it, just little bit of food oils left over when cooking that clean right away without soaking or scrubbing. Size is perfect for me. I like the high, curved sides. Can cook anything in it, sauces, eggs, stir fry's. Glass lid top is great for seeing food while cooking without having to remove lid. Heats up quick and evenly. Manual recommends not cooking above medium high because of this (as it's actually like cooking on high), which is fine, save energy when cooking! This is the only pan I use now! Item shipped fast too.

This was a gift for my aunt. She loves it. Can't provide an accurate rating. It could be cheaper.
