I bought my Cuisinart Peak Kettle in the color Graphite in 2017. As I write this in 2024, it's still on my stove and going strong. I use it nearly every day to boil water for tea. This kettle looks great and is built to last.

I needed a tea kettle for a 2 month air bnb rental and I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I planned to leave behind. For $12 this was ideal. It's well made, the gunmetal gray goes perfect in their kitchen, and the delivery was quick. The lid can be a little tricky (it's tight...better than loose) but if you lift and replace one side at a time it's fine. Work with it and you'll get the hang. Hands down recommend this as an inexpensive kettle to boil water in.

This is a great little tea-kettle for a great price. If one follows the directions, the bad things people are complaining about really shouldn't happen, and taking care of it isn't much trouble. No, this is not a "top of the line' kettle, but iI had one of those once, and the whistler melted because I forgot about it, the enamel chipped because I was a bit careless, and it got lime deposits inside. Just like kettles do when we are casual. This kettle is the perfect size for me; it's very pretty and very easy to use, keep dry.My only concern is that it is quite smooth on the bottom and tends to slide across the burner a bit; you need to take an extra second (one second) and place it properly. I would NOT recommend use on a ceramic stove top; that would be dangerous.

Love the color; did several months of research on kettles before getting this one.First time use.....kettle doesn't whistle louder than a whisper ; you have to be right next to it to hear it!Can't hear it at all from the dining room next to the kitchen.This won't work for me ; I need to be able to hear the kettle whistle.It's going back.

This tea kettle looks PERFECT on our stove, and I love the pop of color. The whistle is clear and at a good tone that is loud enough to hear from another room. On occasion, if the flame is too high under the kettle the handle can get warm, but not hot enough that you need a pot holder or towel. The handle is rubberized and comfortable to grip. The tab on the handle is great for opening lid/whistle on the spout and works smoothly. Pouring from the spout is smooth and doesn't splash. The kettle has an mark on the outside showing the "max fill" line for water, which is nice, but would be helpful if this line were transferred to the inside. I love this kettle, the design and function of it. I would definitely buy another one!

This review is based on coming from a more expensive Belanko tea kettle. So, it's a bit of a comparison.The good:- Wide base for stability and quick heating. It also makes it difficult for the burner flame to get around the base and melt the handle (which was a problem on the Belanko).- Handle stays somewhat cooler than other kettles I've used.- Whistle is really loud.The bad:- The spout flip up switch thing is not easy to use, particularly if the handle is grabbed with a dish towel.- The hot water does not pour out smoothly (unlike the Belanko which was silky smooth), it tends to "glug glug" out.Considering this kettle is Cuisinart branded, I guess I expected better, but it's "just ok".

I love the look of this red enamel whistling tea kettle! I works perfectly and is pleasing to the eye. I like the size of it, as some are too heavy, but this one is just right. I would happily give this as a gift to someone I really like.

Nice kettle for one to two people. Not an ideal size if one was entertaining and needed water for 3+ people.The water really bubbles/splatters out when pouring immediately after boil. My old kettle didn’t Splatter out like this one.

Solid quality, nice weight and audible whistle without it being a high screeching pitch. Also like the locking mechanism of the spout to keep it open if needed.
